Undergraduate degree programmes

We offer single Honours degrees (three year programmes), joint Honours degrees (three year programmes) and combined Honours degrees (three or four year programmes).

Single Honours

BSc Politics involves taking all the main politics course units in each year, while BSc Politics and International Relations involves taking at least two of the main Politics course modules plus two in International Relations. You will also take two further third-year Politics or International Relations options.

Joint Honours

Your time will be divided roughly equally between the two main subjects (e.g. Politics, Economics in the case of BSc Politics and Economics). You will also be required to submit a dissertation on a topic of your choice, or carry out an independent project on a topic of special interest. The dissertation counts as two further course modules in the final year.

  • Politics, Philosophy and Economics (PPE) - unfortunately this course will not be recruiting for 2010 entry. A decision is yet to be made for this course for 2011.

Combined Honours
