Multidisciplinary Conference on Ageing and Neuroscience

Vice-Chancellor Professor Don Nutbeam has the pleasure of inviting you to a showcase of current research in the areas of Ageing and Neuroscience in the Presence of the Lord Lieutenant of Hampshire, Dame Mary Fagan DCVO JP.

The University of Southampton is proud to host a multidisciplinary conference on ageing and neuroscience conference provides an opportunity to hear about our exciting research identifying new mechanisms of disease and new therapeutic strategies and to engage with key stakeholders from the public sector and the community.

Professor Maria Evandrou and Professor Jane Falkingham are two of the academics involved in the programme.

Topics include: Dementia, Alzheimer's Disease, Ageing, Macular Degeneration, Therapeutics, Social Implications, Social Care, Modelling, Policy Implications, and Neuroscience.

Where: Turner Sims Concert Hall, University of Southampton, Highfield, Southampton, SO17 1BJ

There is no charge for this event, but registration is requested by Friday 16th September to Petrina Butler, Multidisciplinary Research Co-ordinator.
