Visualisation in Archaeology Conference Event

The Department of Archaeology is hosting the VIA 2011 International Conference 18-19 April 2011 on Avenue Campus. This conference marks the culmination of the three year Visualisation in Archaeology project which has sought to explore the philosophical and historical dimensions--and future prospects--of the visual presentation of archaeological knowledge.

The conference will host over 45 speakers, 8 presentation & poster sessions, the art exhibition OUTPOST, film screenings, and the digital exhibition OPEN.
