Senior Learning Designer Team Lead

Matt (They/He) has a background in Technology Enhanced Learning and began their career in HE as a programme administrator at the University of Reading before joining the Technology Enhanced Learning Team there. As a Technology Enhanced Learning Advisor they worked on projects introducing Blackboard Ally, Learning Capture, Blackboard Ultra, and pandemic-response teaching, as well as developing central guidance on Digital Accessibility for Teaching & Learning.

Their special interests include accessibility & Inclusive Design (including accessible STEM notation), Learning Capture and video pedagogy, game-based learning, and staff development & digital capabilities.

Matt holds a Fellowship with the Higher Education Academy, as well as qualifications in project management and TEFL. In their spare time they design & publish narratively focused roleplaying games.
