Event details

October Books is welcoming students and staff to the launch of two new pamphlets of F.T. Prince’s poetry – Memoirs of Caravaggio (edited by Peter Robinson) and In Keats Country (edited by Will May).

The event which will also include readings from Philip Hoare and Bevil Luck is being held at October Books.  F.T. Prince (1912-2003), the poet and Milton scholar, was a former Professor of English at the University, taking up post in 1957. His contributions to poetry have been celebrated as one of the University's 60 greatest achievements. These unpublished poems were discovered in Hartley’s Special Collections after an embargo on Prince’s archive was lifted
