Global Lounge: International Movie Night

On the 12th of May 2022, the Global Lounge Student Committee hosted their first ever International Movie Night in the Nuffield building.

For the inaugural screening, students came to watch Slumdog Millionaire and were treated to an emotional rollercoaster, leaving jubilant and requesting for more movie nights as soon as possible! We are happy to announce that the next session is taking place on 8th June 2022.

Su Htet, a star member of our GL committee, said:

“We are pleased to launch our first international movie night with Slumdog Millionaire, the award-winning film that served as a delightful escape for the audience from various cultural backgrounds during stressful exam periods.”
