IML members speak at XIXth International Congress - IIDM
The Director of the IML Professor Michael Tsimplis, and IML Member Professor Filippo Lorenzon recently participated in the XIXth International Congress - IIDM in Lisbon.
Hosted by the Instituto Iberoamericano de Derecho Marítimo the conference took place over 3 days and saw speakers and delegates from South and Central America, Africa, Europe, Asia and USA. The Institute of Maritime Law were the only UK Institution in attendance.
Professor Lorenzon spoke on 'Third party BL Holders Liabilities' and Professor Tsimplis gave two talks entitled 'Wreck Removal' and 'UE Regulation and Applicable Law in relation to Liability Limitation'.
