15th CIF & FOB Course
The Institute of Maritime Law's 15th CIF & FOB was held last week at the Apex City of London Hotel.
The Institute of Maritime Law’s CIF & FOB course has always been an important part of the IML annual calendar. This year’s course was no exception, seeing a group of nine delegates attend the week-long course, held at the Apex City of London Hotel.
Speakers this year included a number of IML members, including Professor Yvonne Baatz, John Dunt, Professor Filippo Lorenzon and Professor Paul Todd. There were also a number of external speakers who attended to share their considerable knowledge in this area from their respective firms. These included Maria Borg Barthet (Campbell Johnston Clark); Charles Debattista (Stone Chambers); Richard Firth (Linklaters); Diane Galloway (Reed Smith); Sandra Healy, M.A. (Cantab); and finally Stephen Mackenzie, co-Head of EMEA Legal for BTG Pactual's commodities business.
The course took place from the 1st- 5th June 2015 and was received with great success by both delegates and speakers.
