Published: 7 November 2016

The Insurance Law Research Group at the University of Southampton, led by Institute members Professor James Davey and Dr Johanna Hjalmarsson, recently produced written evidence for the House of Lords’ consultation on Autonomous Vehicles.

The lead authors of the evidence were Matthew Channon, Teaching Fellow in the Southampton Law School, and Hannah Stones, and IML PhD research student on Unmanned Shipping. The evidence focuses on the public perception of autonomous vehicles, the challenges they pose for Insurance Law and the potential options for reform.
