Medical Devices and Vulnerable Skin Network (MDVSN) Medical Devices and Vulnerable Skin Network (MDVSNPLUS)

The Medical Devices and Vulnerable Skin Network (MDVSN) was created to integrate the expertise required to introduce cutting edge technologies to reduce the incidence of chronic wounds arising from interventional medical devices.  The network ran from 2014-2017.

The MDVSNPLUS project ran from 2016-2019 and looked at the use of intelligent sensing to promote self-management within medical devices.

Partners

The Network engages with other partners, in particular our two supporting HTCs in Wound Prevention & Treatment and Devices for Dignity.

 

Biographies

The Network has brought together a interdisciplinary skill mix and expertise, led by the University of Southampton and King's College London.
