Event details

Following the recent MDVSN sandpit event, there was motivation from a number of delegates to form a special interest group associated with the Tissue Viability Society (TVS). Accordingly, Professor Bader was invited to organize a one and a half hour session at the TVS annual conference on Wednesday 20th April.


The programme includes:
  • 11.30-12.00: Medical devices can compromise tissue viability - Dan Bader, Faculty of Health Science, University of Southampton
  • 12.00-12.20: Device-related injury in pre-term infants - Hannah Liversedge, Faculty of Health Science, University of Southampton
  • 12.20-12.40: Device-related pressure ulcers in trauma patients - Wietske Blom-Ham, University Medical Centre Utrecht, The Netherlands
  • 12.40: Open Discussion

The TVS Annual Conference is the Tissue Viability Society’s flagship event, attracting delegates from the tissue viability community from all over the world.
