Become an ambassador for the Choix Goncourt UK!

The Choix Goncourt UK is a great occasion for British students who love reading to discover or develop a taste for contemporary French literature. To promote this event, we need voluntary ambassador students enthusiastic about sharing their literary experience online. Here is what you can do to become an ambassador:

• Take a photo or a video of yourself while reading an extract chosen from one of the competing novels. You can also make a commentary of an extract, in which you explain why you find it interesting, moving, or exciting. More than a solitary experience, reading for the Goncourt is – as French critic Jacques Rancière calls it – a “distribution of the sensible” : so try as much as possible to show it as a common and shared experience, for instance by gathering photos and videos from your reading groups.
• Send your photos or videos to stagiaire.esri@ambascience.co.uk. Or you can post your photo or video directly online with a relevant caption. Try as much as possible to shoot a high quality video so that it looks appealing online!
• When you post your reading or commentary video on your social media accounts (Facebook,  Twitter, Instagram,  Linkedin), use the #ChoixGoncourtUK and don’t forget to mention the organisers with the following tags:
