Dr Muhammad Mahmudul Karim PhD, MSc, CIFP, BBA
Assistant Professor of Finance and Business Analytics

Muhammad Mahmudul Karim is currently working as an Assistant Professor at the Business School, University of Southampton Malaysia.
His past experiences include postdoctoral research fellow at ISRA (International Shariʽah Research Academy for Islamic Finance), the Data Analyst at Helixtap Technologies, and Graduate Academic Assistant (GAA) at INCEIF University. He also has experience of working on projects sponsored by government agencies and corporations.
Muhammad Mahmudul Karim completed his PhD from INCEIF University (AACSB accredited, Malaysia) in 2021. He was awarded the president's award for the best academic performance in the graduating class of 2021. His PhD topic was “Empirical analysis of a pricing model of corporate coupon bond with stochastic coupons.” Before joining INCEIF as a PhD student, he completed an MSc and CIFP from INCEIF. He also has a BBA (Major in Finance and Banking) degree from IIUC. He obtained a chancellor scholarship for his PhD, a president scholarship for his Msc and CIFP, and a WAMY scholarship for his BBA.
