This workshop is suitable for anyone holding appraisals (PPDR) for staff at levels 1 to 3, including managers and supervisors.
This practical workshop supports managers to hold meaningful two-way conversations, which engage staff through providing impactful feedback, setting clear objectives and considering development.
Appraising with Confidence Workshop Objectives:
- Recognise the benefits of the PPDR process and be familiar with the PPDR form
- Identify and become confident in agreeing SMART Objectives
- Prepare and deliver impactful feedback
- Create a plan to ensure you deliver effective appraisal discussions
We recommend that appraisers also attend Maximising Contribution to develop their practice of some of the skills introduced on this workshop (either workshop can be attended first).
