REACH Retreat 2015

Published: 13 October 2015

The biennial REACH Retreat 2015 took place on Tuesday 13th October at The View Bar and Bistro in Southampton

Twenty nine REACH members attended an enjoyable and engaging workshop about the importance of communication in the workplace. The event was run by Margaret Faulkner from Qudos, a consultancy which specialises in people development. The workshop highlighted different methods and styles of communication and how this might affect your effectiveness when working with others. Small group activities demonstrated how important communication is to complete group tasks effectively. The workshop was followed by lunch in the Bistro, where attendees had the opportunity to network and discuss the day’s activities.

Thanks go to Julie Hooper for great organisation and to the Postdoctoral Association and department of Primary Medical Care for supporting the event.
