Semester 1 Seminar Series

We are delighted to announce our seminar series for Semester 1 21/22 with seminars on a wide range of issues.

The first is on November 10th November at 2.30-4.00pm and will be given by Dr Michelle Weldon-Johns from Abertay University. She will be speaking about ‘Redrawing the boundaries of work-life conflict: menopause and the workplace’.

 

The second is on 17th November at 1-2pm and will be given by Dr Rajnaara Akhtar from the University of Warwick. She will be speaking about ‘Women, child custody and marrying out in Qatar – what implications for human rights?’

 

The third is on 8th December at 1-2pm and will be given by Dr Natalie Sedacca from the University of Exeter. The title of her talk is ‘Domestic Labour and Human Rights: Challenging the Exclusion of Domestic Workers’
