Dr Marc Hardwick BM BCh BA (Hons)

Clinical Research Fellow

Marc joined the team as clinical research fellow in August 2020, after having completed his foundation doctor training in Surrey and Brighton. He graduated in medicine from the University of Oxford in 2018, where he also studied for an intercalated degree in neuroscience and gained laboratory research experience in influenza virology. Currently training in neurology, Marc has published articles in immunology, neurology and psychiatry, and is particularly interested in the intersection between these disciplines.

During his post at Southampton, he is sub-investigator on the MS-STAT2 trial, and is joint first author on CoroNerve Study Group ’s main output, a detailed national surveillance study into the neurological and psychiatric complications of COVID-19.
