The Southampton Institute for Arts and Humanities would like to welcome you to the first of an open-ended series. Research into the cultural and aesthetic implications of science and technology for the arts and humanities is a core SIAH theme.
The technologies, politics, aesthetics and cultures of cosmology, space exploration, scientific imaging, satellite systems, and the Cold War – and the funding landscape for space-related research.
This hybrid session will open with short presentations on the theme, to be followed by questions, discussion and planning.
