A celebration of Southampton’s social impact leaders.
Every year we recognise the university and the city’s social impact leaders. From social entrepreneurs to campaigners, activists and researchers, we hear from people creating systems change in areas as diverse as community journalism in Southampton and access to education in East Africa.
In 2018 we launched the first in our Social Impact Award for research, which was won by Dana S. Thompson with her research helping to include people, often low-income, who are often excluded from household surveys and who are consequently deprived of basic health services.
