Careers talk: Dr Denis O'Shaughnessy Event

As part of our program to provide an opportunity to see how a Biosciences undergraduate and postgraduate degrees can progress a career, we are hosting Denis O'Shaughnessy, the Vice President of Oraya. 

Dr O'Shaughnessy will talk about his work and the environment surrounding his involvement with clinical trials. This has involved roles in large Pharma and more recently in smaller Biotech companies progressing products to clinic. Dr O'Shaughnessy will also answer questions regarding the challenges involved in working in this environment which sits at an important interface between basic science, clinical medicine and commercialization. We hope it will provide a useful coal face insight into this major area of employment.  All 2nd and 3rd year undergraduates, postgraduate and post-doctoral students are particularly encouraged to attend.
