Event details

Sandrine Willaime-Morawek will lead the discussion on her new application she is preparing.

Title: ADAM10/17 in brain tumour stem cell migration and invasion.

The Forum is a 1 hour informal discussion around a new grant idea with a presenter explaining the plan (10-15 min) followed by general discussion. Key points include - does it all fit together? - is the design/controls right? - could new objectives be included to improve? - is the research team right? Anything and everything to help the PI and improve the chances of success. This is an 'early stage' check on optimising grants, followed later by direct peer review of the final application before submission. The Forum does work, we have a very high rate of funding success of grants considered in past sessions.

We meet monthly, last Friday of the month between 4-5pm in Institute of Developmental Sciences Seminar Room. Refreshments provided.
