Improve awareness and availability of training opportunities for technicians through secondment and external placement schemes.

Improve job security and awareness around career progression for technicians.

Improve the induction process for technical staff and develop a mentoring scheme to provide guidance and advice for new technicians.

Raise awareness of technicians and their roles, challenging stereotypes and supporting the professional registration of technicians in partnership with external bodies.

Increasing the use of apprenticeships to train the next generation of technicians and retain valuable skills and experience.
