About Winchester School of Art
As a School of the University of Southampton (a Russell Group research-intensive university), Winchester School of Art has a growing reputation as an international centre for research in global art and design, culture and communication.
The School’s Centre for Global Futures in Art Design & Media is concerned with historical, contemporary and future roles for art, design and media within the context of globalization. Our research staff are widely published and collaborate with international partners in public service, the creative industries and civil society.
The School welcomes research students engaged in creative and critical practices across a wide range of interests in the domains of fine art, graphic arts, media and cultural studies, fashion and textile design, marketing, branding, art management and contemporary curatorship.
Awards
We are offering a scholarship worth up to £25,000 per year (for three years of study) to cover international or Home/EU fees and contribution to living costs.
In addition, we are able to offer two fees-based scholarships to cover either international or Home/EU fees and a contribution of £2,500 per year towards living costs (for three years of study).

To be eligible, submit a formal online application by 18 June 2014. You should state in your proposal document that you wish to be considered for a scholarship. The School will aim to inform of our decision within a month of the deadline.
