Published: 3 March 2011

Freya Perrett, Print Textile Design student at Winchester School of Art, has created a print for shoes designed by Michael Lewis, a New Generation shoe designer who has worked for Gucci, Louis Vuitton and Burberry, among others, and is currently design director of men's and women's shoes at Versace.

Freya was a finalist in the recent Liberty Scarf Competition, when WSA textile students designed scarves to be sold to raise funds for the World Land Trust. Michael Lewis was one of the VIP designers on the final selection panel at Liberty in December 2010 and after seeing Freya's work at the presentation, he asked her to design a print for his shoes.

The shoes were launched at London Fashion week, where they had a great response, and they will be shown at Paris Fashion Week this week.
