We are very pleased to announce that WSA's alumna, faculty member and artist Kay May will be showing six photographs from two of her series of photographic works as part of the event The Other 9/11, to be held at Winchester Discovery Centre.
These works mark WSA’s collaboration with the event and poetically speak to its focus on the International Day of The Disappeared (31/8/13) and the 40th anniversary of the 11/9/1973 coup in Chile.
The Other 9/11, organized by Irene Halford for Amnesty International, will include the exhibition, as well as a screening of the film Missing by Costa Gavras at 19:30 on the 11th September followed by a Q&A session in order to create awareness of the International day of the Disappeared and the 40th anniversary of the 9/11 in Chile.
