As British Art Show 8 comes to a close in its final destination we asked students and graduates to reflect on their experience of working with or simply visiting British Art Show 8. WSA students are invited

11:00 - 11:15 Welcome by Roger Malbert, Head of Hayword Touring

11:15 - 11:40 Student Presentation 1: Piers Inkpen, University of Southampton, Winchester School of Art (Title: Curtains, Castration and Complexities.) + short Q&A

11:40 - 12:05 Solent University, Photography Student Project Presentation + short Q&A

12:05 - 12:30 Student Presentation 2: Rosemary Brookshaw, University of Southampton, Winchester School of Art (Title: British Art Show 8) + short Q&A

12:30 - 12:55 University of Leeds Student Film + short Q&A

13:00 – 13:55 Lunch at John Hansard Gallery (Building 50)

14:00 - 14:25 Student Presentation 3: Nick Cook, University of Southampton, Winchester School of Art (Titles: Personal Impact; Contemporary Art in the Regions) + short Q&A

14:25 - 14:50 Student Presentation 4: Aoife O’Rourke, University of Leeds (Title: Considerate.) + short Q&A

14:50 - 15:15 Winchester School of Art Student Project Presentation + short Q&A

15:15 - 15:30 Closing by Roger Malbert, Head of Hayword Touring

15:30 – 17:00 Drink Reception at John Hansard Gallery and opportunity to visit the show

 

Filming:

The event will be filmed for the British Art Show 8 website and the BAS8 hosting Universities websites and photography taken for publicity for all four city hosts and the Southbank Centre and Hayward Touring. Should you wish not to be filmed please let the organisers know on the day.
