Winchester School of Art is pleased to announce its own FASHION WEEK, running alongside Winchester Fashion Week on the 11-18 July 2021
A schedule packed with fashion events, it has been designed for anyone interested in fashion and for all aspiring creatives. Book and join us at a fashion workshop, attend a talk to learn about fashion careers or sustainability in fashion, or secure a seat at our annual runway show!
Places are limited on workshops, talks and runway shows- so book early to avoid disappointment.

Sustainability in Fashion
Sustainability is one of the buzz words in fashion right now, but what does it really mean, and how is the fashion industry tackling this critical issue? Join three industry speakers working to change the fashion landscape, as they discuss these questions and more.

If you are interested in a career in fashion, then you will not want to miss these talks from three fantastic speakers who work in great roles across the fashion industry. As graduates from the BA Fashion Marketing with Management programme, these industry professionals will present what their roles involve, and their top tips for securing your dream job and how to succeed.

Draw live models styled in creative, eclectic, colourful outfits, and join in with the styling/dressing up if you wish!

An introduction to weaving on our rigid heddle looms, a chance to explore what is possible on these simple yet inspiring looms. No experience needed, just bring your enthusiasm and creativity!

Introduction to Heat Pressed Textiles Workshop
To introduce you to some of our facilities in printed textiles we will use some exciting and innovative ways of printing fabric from paper using combinations of digital printed sublimation and a painted reactive dye process. No experience needed, just bring your imagination.

WSA BA Fashion Show x WFW
The WSA BA Fashion Show is a wonderful showcase of Fashion Design and Knitwear students’ graduate collections. Created during a challenging year, we are delighted to present a live runway show to introduce the class of 2021. The collections show off the array of styles, identities, and skills the students possess and are mostly produced from recycled or sustainably sources fabrics and materials.
