I particularly liked the way the lectures were taught and how receptively we were treated throughout the University.

Why did you choose to undertake your studies at the University of Southampton?
I wanted to study gerontology at a university with a background in ageing research to support my growth as a psychologist specialist in this area. I found the University of Southampton and the Centre for Research on Ageing. I chose the masters degree because I realised that it would largely allow me to achieve my goals, give me valuable knowledge and open up opportunities for me in my country.

What did you enjoy about studying at Southampton?
I particularly liked the way the lectures were taught and how receptively we were treated throughout the University.

What have you been able to achieve as a result of studying at the University of Southampton?
I am undertaking a work placement in a town hall in Portugal, where I have the opportunity to develop projects for the older people in the county.
