MS 224/34 Papers of Doris Muriel Gray, later Ferguson

Doris Muriel Gray was educated at Buxton Girls' High School, 1916-18, Newport Secondary School, Isle of Wight, 1918-24 and attended the University College, Southampton, 1924-6, where she obtained a teaching certificate. After leaving Southampton she pursued a career in teaching in junior and infants schools, mainly in the south of England, but also at Chiswick High School, Malta, 1940-5.
