New Evening Seminars
New evening seminars will challenge conventional thinking

The 30th November will see the first in a series of monthly evening seminars, hosted by Southampton Business School. Each month, speakers from industry and academia will explore current industry topics, and share unique insight and research findings with attendees.

The first seminar is titled ‘The World’s Bottom Line’, and will be hosted in partnership with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW). The seminar will consider how organisations can combat climate change, poverty and inequality in meeting the UN’s Global Goals for Sustainable Development.

“The new evening seminars are a great opportunity for industry professionals, university staff and students to learn about current business issues and industry research,” says Professor Martin Broad, Head of Southampton Business School. “We’ll be challenging conventional thinking, and hopefully people will leave the seminars able to approach business challenges in new and interesting ways.”

The evening seminars are free of charge and refreshments are provided. For more information, and to book to attend ‘The World’s Bottom Line’ on the 30th November, click here.
