More about Stress and the Mindbody solution (Tricia Worby): It is not widely appreciated how subconscious stress from traumatic memory can impact the body with chronic illness. Common childhood events such as surgery, bullying, and poor parental attachment (anything that is perceived as a threat to the self) can form permanent associations in the emotional brain which are reflected in the body in later life. If the person then suffers a subsequent trauma as an adult e.g. divorce, injury, bereavement, these survival-based systems are re-activated producing such symptoms as depression, anxiety, chronic pain and fatigue. I will be looking at the psychosensory therapies of EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique or Tapping), EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprogramming) and Hypnotherapy to release the stuck trauma and allow a return to health and vitality.

You can either reserve a place for these event, or just turn up! Please ensure however that you arrive a few minutes before the session is due to start. Maximum numbers will vary according to the activity.
