The University of Southampton Doctoral College is a focal point for the training and development of doctoral researchers across the University. We work in partnership with Faculty Graduate Schools and Professional Services.
We aim to provide an inspiring and vibrant environment for your research and to equip you with the skills you will need to join the next generation of research leaders.
We do this by:
- coordinating and enhancing doctoral training across the University
- working with doctoral researchers to enable them to produce high-quality research and maximise its impact
- providing an attractive Professional Development Programme to enable researchers to maximise their potential
- developing an effective network linking staff and doctoral researchers across a range of subject areas, to generate links between disciplines and foster interdisciplinary research
- building a strong doctoral researcher community across the University
