Editorial Information

Only current students or alumni of the University of Southampton are eligible to submit work.

The Southampton Student Law Review reserves the right to reject any submissions after the review process and feedback received from the editorial board.

Plagiarism will not be tolerated; any such issues will primarily lead to an attempt to resolve the issue. If the issue cannot be resolved, the Southampton Student Law Review reserves the right to reject any articles it feels violate this principle.

Joining the Southampton Student Law Review

Applications to the Editorial Board of the Southampton Student Law Review are accepted annually.

First year undergraduates are barred from joining the Board unless they have previous academic experience. For instance, they have studied at University level prior to attending the LLB course at Southampton in a discipline which has transferable legal and academic skills.

There will be two seats reserved for undergraduate nominees. These seats will be selected by means of a vote which takes place with the Law Society elections each year.

The roles of Chief Editor and Managing Editor will be elected by the members of the current Editorial Board.
