Southampton Law School academics publish new book: 'Maritime Law in China'
The book 'Maritime Law in China', edited by Dr Jenny Jingo Zhang and Dr Johanna Hjalmarsson of Southampton Law School was published on 14 September 2016.
It provides the first English language monograph on the current state and future challenges on maritime law in China. It contains contributions by several leading Chinese law scholars and not least colleagues Professor Yvonne Baatz, Dr Meixian Song, PhD candidate Keren Wu and Southampton alumni Dr Dingjing Huang and Edward Yang Liu.
The book is based on the papers from a Confucius Institute conference organised in 2014 by the Law School over three days in Southampton and London. It follows the similar book 'Insurance Law in China', also supported by the Confucius Institute and published in 2014.
