Boris Johnson and EU Law – Huffington Post article published by Southampton Law School academic

An article written by Matthew Channon in the online news channel, The Huffington Post has been attracting plenty of attention around the world. Matthew, who is a Teaching Fellow in Law at the University of Southampton and has a background in Motor Insurance Law, co-wrote the piece with Professor Rob Merkin QC, of University of Exeter.

The article discusses the compulsory motor insurance scheme, and the UK’s potential withdrawal from it following Brexit. It touches upon the comments made by Foreign Secretary, Boris Johnson and raises concerns about his understanding of EU law.
