Biographical notes

BA, DPhil Oxford

Before moving to Southampton in 2005, Chris Janaway taught at the University of Sydney and Birkbeck College, London. His recent research has been on Schopenhauer, Nietzsche and aesthetics. He is currently principal investigator on the AHRC-funded research project Nietzsche and Modern Moral Philosophy, and general editor of a new translation of Schopenhauer’s works with Cambridge University Press.
