Archaeology for the Creative Industries (ACI) provides expert advice and research services to film, television, the gaming industry, performing arts, fine and digital art, craft, luxury bands and designers who require archaeological input in development of services, products, reconstructions, continuing professional development, or events. We have the facility to partner on grant applications, or offer project specific advice, across a range of disciplines.

Imagining Ships

Drawing upon the expertise of the Centre for Maritime Archaeology, ACI specialises in the digital reconstruction of historic ships, both real and imagined.

In collaboration with Pro Progessione and choreographer Anna Gulyás, ACI used Bronze Age archaeological material to form the inspiration for a new experimental contemporary dance piece: Earthborn.
