Southampton Business School rises in league table rankings
Southampton Business School’s subject areas have risen significantly in the 2017 Guardian University Guide, released earlier this week.
Business, Management and Marketing has seen the greatest improvement, rising to 27th from 61st (out of 131 institutions), whilst Accounting and Finance has risen 11 places to 37th (out of 109 institutions). Additionally, Southampton Business School’s business, management and marketing courses are ranked 6th in the UK for graduate employment.
Speaking of the ranking improvements, Professor Martin Broad says, “The Guardian League Table results are further evidence of the excellent student experience that Southampton Business School provides. We’re particularly pleased that the Business School is ranked 6th in the UK for business student’s graduate employability, demonstrating the excellent future prospects that our students can expect”.
The University of Southampton has consolidated its position amongst the UK’s top 20 universities by placing joint 16th overall in the 2017 Guardian University Guide. Amongst Russell Group institutions that feature in the guide, Southampton is ranked joint 10th.
