Research Fellow Opportunity in the CHERISH Team

An exciting opportunity is available in the Faculty of Medicine for a Research Fellow to join the CHERISH programme team working on a Global Health research programme to improve adult health in sub-Saharan Africa.

The position is funded by the National Institute of Health Research through a Global Health Professorship awarded to Professor Nuala McGrath. 

CHERISH designs and evaluates interventions for couples affected by HIV, diabetes and other health conditions, and is a partnership between the University of Southampton and two South African institutions: Human Sciences Research Council and University of Cape Town. 

You will analyse existing secondary data for couples in Africa and contribute to primary data collection in South Africa to identify opportunities for couples-focused health intervention development.
