CI Soton Attended Barton Peveril College’s Open Day Event

On 3rd and 4th October 2018, the Confucius Institute at the University of Southampton (CI Soton) attended Barton Peveril College’s open day event. As Chinese is a new addition to the language curriculum, students and parents alike were excited. The cultural workshops held by the CI introduced the course layout and how students will be assessed. The plan is to start a lunchtime club in November, establish HSK classes next year and progressively develop towards providing GCSE courses in Chinese.
