Chinese New Year Gala

On 10th February 2019, the Confucius Institute at the University of Southampton along with the Chinese Arts Southampton had a gala at King Edward VI School Theatre to celebrate the Chinese New Year.

Hundreds of audience enjoyed the fantastic Chinese music and traditional performances, such as Children singing and dance, Chinese flute Solo, Chinese folk dance, Beijing opera dance, Kong Fu Demo, Pipa Solo & Tai Chi Demo, etc.

The gala was a great success of Chinese arts and culture and a very enjoyable evening.
