Centre hosts American history roundtable

On Thursday 20 November, the Centre – in co-operation with the Department of History – hosted a roundtable entitled ‘American Empire: Concepts, Contexts and Comparisons’. The roundtable featured Dr James Morgan (University of Southampton), author of the new book Into New Territory: American Historians and the Concept of US Imperialism (University of Wisconsin Press, 2014), Dr Marc-William Palen (University of Exeter) and Dr David Sim (University College London).
