Post-Colonial Studies in the Humanities Disciplines, 16 June 2016
On 16 June 2016, the Centre for Imperial and Post-Colonial Studies was delighted to host a lunchtime workshop on the subject of post-colonial studies in the humanities disciplines, exploring its influence on theory and practice across a variety of fields, not just its ‘natural home’ in literary studies.
The workshop included discussants from History, English, Archaeology, Music, Modern Languages and the Parkes Institute for the Study of Jewish/Non-Jewish Relations. The Centre was pleased that Professor Anshuman Mondal from Brunel University, Chair of the Postcolonial Studies Association, was present to participate in the discussion.
