Speaker information
Dr James Cameron, Fundação Getulio Vargas in São Paulo. A historian by training (PhD Cambridge, 2013), his research focuses on the influence of domestic politics on foreign and national security policy. His first book, The Double Game: The Rise and Demise of America’s First Missile Defense System, 1961-1972 is under contract with Oxford University Press. The author of articles in International History Review and the Journal of Strategic Studies (forthcoming with Or Rabinowitz), he is currently working on a new project entitled Ascent, Crisis, and Renewal: Brazil in the Age of Globalization, 1969-1989.
