A Review of the Application of Simulation Using a Variety of Commercial Tools Seminar

Abstract: The presentation will provide an introduction and background to the concept of simulation modelling tools. It will focus on highlighting both the similarities and differences between the approaches used by the tools as well as providing an insight into how they are applied across a range of different problem areas.
 
The session will make use of models from a variety of different tools, including Anylogic, Simul8 and Flexsim (including HC).  Although seminar will assume no prior knowledge of simulation it will hopefully be of interest to both practitioners and those new to the subject. The presentation will make use of both real models and a degree of "live" model building to highlight how the tools are used to develop simulations of real problems.
