PhD success for Dr Heather Meyer

Congratulations to Dr Heather Meyer who was awarded her PhD on 7 February. Heather’s thesis is entitled ‘ The Global Imaginary of international School Communities: A Case Study from Germany’.

Taking an ethnographic approach the thesis explores how global social imaginaries are constructed, negotiated and contested within the ‘gated community’ of an international school. Prior to the PhD Heather completed the MA in Transnational Studies.
