Looking for an alternative way to promote teaching and learning in physical education? We will be joined on Skype by one of the world's leading authorities on Sport Education, Professor Peter Hastie, a Wayne T. Smith Distinguished Professor in the School of Kinesiology, Auburn University, USA.
Sport Education is a model of curriculum and instruction that can add an authentic and exciting element to a PE program. Sport Education has captured the interest of PE teachers around the world. This workshop will introduce attendees to the model and deal with the ‘what’, ‘whys’, ‘how’ and ‘where else’.
Professor Peter Hastie from Auburn University, USA will be joining the workshop via Skype. Peter is one of the world’s leading authority on Sport Education.

Speaker information
Gary Kinchin, PhD,A former PE teacher, Gary studied under Daryl Siedentop (the creator of Sport Education) while completing his MA and PhD at The Ohio State University. Gary has been teaching and researching Sport Education for over 20 years and has published numerous papers on the model in addition to leading workshops for student teachers and teachers both in the UK and overseas.
