Event details

The Student Disability and Inclusion Team presents a series of Group Workshops which are designed for autistic students and those awaiting a diagnosis. You do not need a formal diagnosis of Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC) to join the workshops. Autistic people are at higher risk of assault than neurotypical people. In this session, we will discuss some theories as to why that is. We will discuss proactive steps we can take to keep ourselves safe. We will talk about what support the University can provide if you are assaulted and where you can go for external support. This session will take place in person, at Highfield Campus. Further details, including the exact location, will be confirmed at the time of booking.

To book your place on this workshop, please contact Student Disability and Inclusion via studenthub@soton.ac.uk.
