Professor Terence Langdon wins 2012 Acta Materialia Gold Medal Award
Director of the Centre for Bulk Nanostructured Materials and Research Professor of Materials Science, Professor Terence Langdon, has been presented with the 2012 Acta Materialia Gold Medal Award.
The Acta Materialia Gold Medal is awarded annually by the Board of Governors of Acta Materialia, Inc, with partial financial support from Elsevier Ltd. The award consists of the gold medal, an inscribed certificate, and a cheque for a sum of money that constitutes the Board's contribution to the award winner.
Professor Langdon received the award at a ceremony at the E-MRS Fall Meeting in Warsaw, Poland, in September 2012.
