Bioengineering Seminar
Miniaturising fluidic handling to the micrometer scale has the potential to revolutionise bioanalysis and biomedical research. In our group, we employ lab-on-a-chip devices in clinical diagnostics for heart attack markers or bacterial infection in blood and urine samples, for water quality analysis in resource-poor settings, for quality control of radiopharmaceuticals and also for analysis of tissue biopsies in the context of personalised medicine.
